Setting up this blog, especially the avatar has been very time comsuming and frustrating. Am hoping it gets easier from here.With Kay Land's help, I was able to copy the avatatr's code and successfully add it too my blog. I am feeling better about this and see where practice makes it easier. If I, as a "non-techie" can learn to do this, anybody can! :-)
